Redcliffe Uniting Church, Saturday 26 November 2016; 7 p.m. Tickets $20 (all revenue to MND research).
This choral concert was a fund-raiser for research into the debilitating and terminal Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
Well-known and loved Redcliffe musician David Judd contracted the disease in 2015 and (at the time of the concert) was living with his wife Shirley in a high-care facility close to Sydney. David co-founded the Redcliffe City Orchestra’s Jazz Ensemble, appeared frequently as an artist at the Redcliffe Cultural Centre, and accompanied soloists and choirs, including Counterpoint, on many occasions. He tragically died from the disease in early January 2018.
